How can we redesign a complex sonar system while respecting legacy constraints?

The C4M project focused on redesigning the CAPTAS 4 sonar with engineers and military operators, improving its aesthetic, hydrodynamic performance, and functional form. The challenge was to explore innovative shapes and materials without compromising the ADN of the existing system or technical requirements. Through collaborative workshops and 3D modeling, we iterated concepts that enhanced hydrodynamics and visual coherence, while maintaining operational feasibility.
