Collaborative Console

How can naval forces combine human expertise and AI to make underwater mine warfare more efficient and secure?

Operators face massive streams of sonar data collected by automated drones. Analyzing this data in real time is critical, but complex and high-stakes. The Collaborative Console is a next-generation interface where humans and AI collaborate. It visualizes sonar data, highlights actionable insights, and supports rapid decisions while maintaining trust and operational security. This project explores digital transformation in defense, creating a system where AI amplifies human intuition without overwhelming the operator.

Methods and Tools: observations & contextual inquiry, stakeholder interviews, collaborative workshop, service blueprint, prototyping (digital + phygital), 3d modeling and video storytelling
